Determining the First Thrower

The Bull Shot

The most common method is for each player to throw one dart at the bullseye. The player whose dart lands closest to the center of the bullseye goes first.

Alternative Methods

  • Coin flip
  • Rock, paper, scissors
  • Previous game winner goes first
  • Youngest/oldest player goes first

Order of Play

Once the first player is determined:

  1. Players alternate turns
  2. Each player throws three darts per turn
  3. The order remains consistent throughout the game
